I dislike giving anyone bad news. But this fence had a series of entrances that made it very attractive to bees. The owners have a lot of work ahead of them sealing all the holes in this fence. Any house within 5 miles of the San Elijo Lagoon, is under a constant threat form killer bee colonies moving in. We are in the middle of a drought. Every bee within range of the Lagoon will be looking for homes near by. This fence is just a long line of luxury bee condominiums for our little local buzzers.

I removed this colony, put them in a langstrom hive. And will requeen them with a domestic queen. to create yet another healthy hive that the environment so desperately needs in this world of colony collapse disorder : )
